Rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo's impending transfer to Paris Saint-Germain abound these days and his antics on the pitch are just fanning the flames of speculations even more.
In Real Madrid's recent Champions League encounter with Les Rouge-et-Bleu, the 30-year-old Portugal captain whispered sweet nothings with PSG manager Laurent Blanc and winked at club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi as he left the field, sparking more rumors with regards to his future at the Bernabéu.
Manchester United fans are hoping that the two-time FIFA Ballon d'Or and one-time Ballon d'Or winner would move to Old Trafford next summer, but Blanc and his Parisiens seem to be in front of the Ronaldo sweepstakes ahead of Louis van Gaal.
Recently, Mirror reported that Ronaldo allegedly told Blanc during the brief intimate moment, "your team plays really well. I would love to work with you."
Furthermore, Al-Khelaifi had reportedly met with the Portugal international's agent Jorge Mendes of the possibility of the transfer.
"Ronaldo has a contract with Real and we respect that," Al-Khelaifi said. "Negotiations would be in secret... but nothing for now," the 41-year-old executive ended with a slight laugh.
Meanwhile, Caught Offside indicated that Real is aware of the possibility of losing Ronaldo to PSG next summer, which is why the Bernabéu giants are looking at two possible Galactico signings this January.
Los Blancos' options are reportedly Arsenal's Alexis Sánchez or Chelsea's Eden Hazard. Of the two, it is the latter who is more likely to be dealt as the Belgian attacking midfielder is currently struggling in Jose Mourinho's system and has grown unsettled at Stamford Bridge while the Chilean winger is playing in top form with Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
