EXO-M's Luhan debuts in the Chinese remake of the Korean romantic comedy "Miss Granny," renamed in China as "Twenties Once Again."
Together with film director Chen Zheng Dao and his co-stars, Luhan promoted the romantic comedy film during a press conference held on Dec.1, where he also released a song entitled "Our Tomorrow" which would serve as the official theme music of the flick.
During the conference, Luhan expressed his gratitude at the chance to be part of the film and for his co-stars' guidance in his first acting project, noting how Yang Zi Shan and Gui Ya Lei helped him get through the shooting.
"It is my first attempt at acting, so I am very nervous and also a little excited. I am a newbie, so I'm uncertain about some things, so Grandma is the one teaching me most of the time," he stated, referring to actress Yang Zishan's character.
The former EXO member plays the role of Meng Sun, the grandson of a 70-year-old grandmother, portrayed by Gua Ya Lei, and falls in love with her after she magically returns to her 20-year-old self, as played by Yang Zi Shan.
Described as "lovable like a child," some of the movie's representatives noted how Luhan had been very willing to learn acting during the shooting of the film that concluded in July this year.
Actress Gui Ya Lei lauded the rookie actor for his adorable way of acting, noting how "he always uses his cute puffy eyes to look innocently at you," making her feel like she's really looking at her grandson.
The Chinese version of "Miss Granny" is set to hit theaters on Jan. 15, 2015.
