"Pitch Perfect" actress Anna Camp is all set to start a new innings in her professional career as the lead stage-actress. She will enact the lead in the play "Verite", which will be staged at the Claire Tow Theatre.
Camp finished shooting for her movies "True Blood" and "Goodbye to All That" so she has some time to kill before she begins shooting for "Pitch Perfect 2" in the summer of 2015. And she is going to utilize it to play a writer, who has to make her life exciting so that it can be published. The writer of the play is Nick Jones and the play makes its debut at the Claire Tow Theatre from Jan. 31, 2015. Nick Jones gained critical name and fame for "Trevor", "The Coward" and "Orange is the New Black."
Anna reveals that the play excited her and the unusual character of the writer challenged her so much that she immediately fell in love with the role and nodded her agreement to the play. Despite the fact that the play would be starting in winters and the climatic challenges are only going to add to the excitement of the role. Anna feels that it would be exciting to dress up in woolens and head to the theatre.
The character that she plays undergoes a radical transformation from a shy and reserved woman to a very ambitious and determined person. "The Help" actress feels that it is going to be a challenging role to play and she is looking forward to it.
Anna's co-stars in the play include Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jeanine Serralles, Damian Young, Oliver Hallmann and Danny Wolohan. The show is being directed Moritz von Stuelpnagel.
