The San Francisco 49ers (3-6) got a big boost with a win before their bye week and they now travel to the CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Sunday to again face the struggling Seahawks (4-5) for a Week 11 matchup.
Seattle routed San Francisco in their first game, 20-3, during Week 7 at the Levi's Stadium.
The Niners pulled off a nice 17-16 upset over the Atlanta Falcons at their home field on November 8 before heading to a week of rest, as per ESPN.
Promoted backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert led the Niners to a 17-point second quarter explosion that proved to be enough against Matt Ryan and the Falcons as their defense took care of things the rest of the way.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are on a trend of losing two straight games then winning two straight then losing two again as they fell to third place in the NFC West.
They are coming off a 39-32 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday at their home turf, via SB Nation, after winning two consecutive matches against San Francisco and Dallas.
If the pattern continues, then they are likely to fall against the Niners this time around.
Prediction: Niners win, 17-14.
