Undefeated squad Carolina Panthers (9-0) hosts mercurial team Washington Redskins (4-5) at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Sunday for a Week 11 matchup in the 2015 NFL season.
Washington is having an up-and-down season to say the least as the team has alternated winning and losing in its last four outings.
The Redskins last game was actually a scintillating 47-14 drubbing of the New Orleans Saints at the FedEx Field last Sunday as quarterback Kirk Cousins threw a career-high four touchdown passes after going an almost flawless 20-of-25 for 324 yards, as per ESPN.
Meanwhile, Carolina extended its winning streak to nine games in opening the season, trouncing the Tennessee Titans, 27-10, at the Nissan Stadium also last Sunday, via Yahoo Sports.
Quarterback Cam Newton opened the way for the Panthers once again as he completed all of his first 11 passes - the longest streak in his career - then their defense took care of the rest in the second half to pull off another lopsided victory.
The key to this encounter is how Carolina's vaunted defense, who blanked the Titans in the second half on Sunday, will match up against the scoring of Cousins and his red-hot offensive crew.
Prediction: Panthers win, 28-21.
