Reeling contender FC Schalke 04 (6-4-2, 20 points) will square off with undefeated league leaders and defending champions Bayern Munich (11-0-1, 34 points) at the Veltins Arena on Saturday in a 2015-2016 Bundesliga season action.
Schalke has struggled in their past few games as they were held winless in four of their last six matches. Their last game was a heartbreaking 2-3 defeat to powerhouse team Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park on November 8th before the international break, as per Goal.
Dortmund's Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa opened the scoring at the half-hour mark, which was quickly equalized by the Miners striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar three minutes later.
However, defender Matthias Ginter put the Borussians two minutes before halftime to give them a 2-1 lead at the break. Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave BVB a 3-1 advantage two minutes into the second half before Huntelaar scored his second goal of the match at the 71st for the final count.
Meanwhile, the Bavarians dealt Stuttgart a lopsided 4-0 thrashing at the Allianz Arena on November 7th to bounce back from their previous drawn game against Frankfurt, via SkySports.
Winger Arjen Robben, midfielder Douglas Costa, and striker Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller netted a goal apiece for Pep Guardiola's side at the 11th, 18th, 37th, and 40th minutes en route to the blowout win.
The prediction is a 5-1 romp for Bayern Munich for their second straight win.
