"Super Smash Bros. 4" fans will get one of the biggest surprises for the game before the end of this year with the addition to Cloud Strife.
In a recent Nintendo Direct event, it was unveiled that the game developer company is planning to include Cloud Strife to "Super Smash Bros. 4" both for Wii U and 3DS versions, according to IGN. During the presentation, there was displaying of Cloud Strife with his limit breaks, an alternate costume, and Odin summon.
Cloud Strife is the main character in Square Enix's "Final Fantasy VII" and "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children."
While there were no further details on the release date, it is speculated that the "Final Fantasy" character will premiere in the Nintendo brawler title, full with his Amiibo figure, very soon. In fact, it is rumored that more details may surface in December.
As more rumors concerning other possible contenders joining the game emerge online, creator Yacht Games still cannot budge in its position that the famous Shovel Knight character will not be featuring in "Super Smash Bros. 4" roster. Previously, the character creator quashed hopes that the main protagonist will be included in the roster, allegedly supported by a "leaked" still of a Shovel Knight Amiibo as "Super Smash Bros." - supported.
However, with Nintendo remaining mum on the issue, Shovel Knight fans still have their hopes held high that their favorite character will make it to the upcoming game since other characters outside Nintendo sphere have already been lined up for the brawler game.
Other character names that surfaced in a recent fan poll for the next Nintendo character inclusion include Dixie Kong, Metroid's" Ridley, "Splatoon's" Inkling, and "Golden Sun's" Isaac.
