Neil Patrick Harris, the upcoming 2015 Oscars host who recently starred in "Gone Girl," gave all the viewers a unique gift idea for their loved ones on Christmas.
In a promotional video released on Christmas Day, the 41-year-old actor provides his fans some great last-minute holiday gift advice while he is in a tuxedo accented by a red scarf.
The short clip features him comically saying, "This Yuletide season, give your loved ones a present they will never forget."
He added, "Give each one of them the gift of telling them to not forget to watch me as I host the 2015 Oscars."
Harrisl is known for his comic turns as a presenter for the theatrical world's Tony Awards and TV's Emmys. With five very successful hosting gigs, he has been chosen to work wonders on Feb. 22 at the Academy Awards.
In an Interview with the Entertainment Weekly, Harris said, "I just want to make sure that it will be nothing but a classy event." According to him, I have huge respect for the Oscars; its history, the gowns, and every single proof of classiness in it."
The upcoming Oscars will put Harris one ceremony short of achieving the "EGOT," which starnds for Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tonys in the world of hosting, since he will only need the Grammys to complete the list. Ellen DeGeneres, on the other hand, has to host the Tonys to complete hers.
In history, no person has ever hosted the four major award shows; however, the Grammys may prove Harris' biggest challenge since the show sometimes runs without a host.
