The Oklahoma City Thunder needs to go all in for a championship this season as Kevin Durant's free agency looms.

With KD healthy again, there aren't a lot of holes in the Thunder line-up, but shooting guard is probably their weakest position.

The current roster had Dion Waiters and Anthony Morrow taking up most of the playing time and some quarters believe that should be improved.

According to Bleacher Report, OJ Mayo is a player who would probably be traded. Mayo is one of the standouts of the talented 2008 Draft and was taken ahead of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love.

With the Bucks, Mayo has seen less playing time because of the stacked rotation. They have Khris Middleton, Michael Carter-Williams, Jerryd Bayless and even Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker rotating at the wing. Mayo is a free agent and is most likely to sign elsewhere. The Bucks can trade him to a contender and get some assets, even a late first round pick.

The Oklahoma City Thunder should be interested. A Real GM thread has the Thunder being a good fit for Mayo as he has more versatility than the current shooting guards for the Thunder.

Mayo, along with no.2 pick Michael Beasley, were two of the biggest disappointments of the otherwise stellar 2008 Draft. For the former USC star (and former Russell Westbrook rival when he was with UCLA), there were doubts about his conditioning and commitment.

However, he has reportedly improved and is in great shape, which is usual for a player on a contract year. The Thunder could take advantage of this situation and see Mayo at his best, along with his college rival, when they stake their claim for a title.
