Floyd Mayweather has become Manny Pacquiao's staunchest critic for the past half-decade and even after their fight.

However, Money May can still swing a fair assessment on the Filipino former champion. His reaction on reports that Pacquiao will most probably face Terrence Crawford, Floyd shows respect as quoted by Fight Hype.

"If Terence Crawford happens to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to let him know that it's not going to be easy. Even though I know I made it look easy, it's not going to be easy," Mayweather said. "The mother****er can fight. He's a lot better than what I thought he was. From me being in the ring with Manny Pacquiao I take my hat off to him and I can see why he went so far in his career. Terence Crawford gotta realize that Pacquiao is bigger and stronger than Yuriorkis Gamboa, and he hits harder."

But somehow, even Mayweather's compliments will eventually exalt him: "He (Crawford) can fight, but I don't want him to think that just because I made it look that easy with Pacquiao, it's going to be that easy."

Since Mayweather still has some respect for PacMan's ability, would he consider a rematch with him if ever he wins over Crawford? While it will be a very long shot as Pacquiao already said his April fight would be his last and Floyd is already retired, some quarters, including the heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko thinks it's possible as he told ESPN.

"I think he still has some fight there. I think the 50-year-old record, you know, to be tied with Rocky Marciano is cool. I still really believe that he's not going to retire for some reason, even if he announced it. But I think he's going to go ahead and do at least one more (fight)."

Will the heavyweight champion's hunch turn out right? Have we not yet seen the last of Mayweather?
