"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will unveil new details on what really happened on the night that Asher (Matt McGorry) went to the police.
According to Bustle, there is a possibility that going to the police was Annalise Keating's (Viol Davis) plan to protect him.
On one episode of the hit ABC series, fans learned that Asher was the one responsible for killing Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) when he ran her over with his car.
Asher called Bonnie (Liza Weil) for help, and she immediately arrived at the crime scene and decided to make Emily's death look like suicide.
After leaving the Hapstall mansion, Bonnie told Asher that she will just go to the restroom to clean herself.
When she returned to the car, Asher was no longer there. It was later on revealed that he went to the police in what seemed like he was about to turn himself in.
Meanwhile, there are some rumors that Annalise wouldn't allow Asher to turn himself in just like that.
After all, Annalise has already proven how protective she is of the people she cares about, and Asher is definitely one of them.
In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Pete Nowalk said that fans will learn Asher's whereabouts when the series return in February 2016.
Nowalk added that he also wants to see Asher do another victory dance in the second half of the season.
"I sure hope so. People compartmentalize, so part of his coping mechanism might be to dance it out a little," he said.
"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will premiere on ABC on Feb. 11, 2016.
