The anime adaptation of "Assassination Classroom" will be having a second season on Jan. 7, 2016, as various television networks will air the popular comedy action show.
Weekly Shonen Jump released the 53rd issue of the Japanese magazine on Nov. 30, Monday, which had the official confirmation of "Assassination Classroom Season 2."
Aside from the much-awaited return of the anime series, Fuji TV and Kansai TV have been revealed as two of the networks that would be showing the Jan. 7, 2016 premiere of "Assassination Classroom Season 2," according to Anime News Network.
Likewise, other television channels such as Tokai TV and BS Fuji will be playing the anime series once the show officially premieres.
Studio Lerche will once again be handling the anime adaptation of Yusei Matsui's manga series as Seiji Kishi will serve as the director. Kishi is known for his creative inputs in other anime shows such as "Danganronpa The Animation," "Devil Survivor 2 The Animation" and "Persona 4 The Animation."
The character design will be handled by Kazuaki Morita who also worked on "Persona 4 The Animation," "Danganronpa the Animation" and "Arpeggio of Blue Steel." Makoto Uezu will be the scriptwriter and has already done similar work on anime series such as "Arpeggio of Blue Steel," "Is This a Zombie?," "School Days" and "Danganronpa The Animation."
Meanwhile, Fuji TV On Demand will be airing "Assassination Classroom Season 2" online just three days after the television premiere of the series on Jan. 7, 2016, according to Crunchyroll.
Moreover, fans of the manga and the anime series will be delighted to know that a limited, official merchandise shop titled "Korosensei Shop Returns!" will be available on Dec. 12, at Fuji TV's 25th-floor Spherical Observation Room located in Odaiba, Japan.
The first season of "Assassination Classroom" began airing on Jan. 9 and ended on June 19 after 22 great episodes that successfully adapted a portion of the manga series.
