Newly-promoted clubs Watford FC (5-5-4, 19 points) and Norwich City FC (3-7-4, 13 points) collide for a 2015-2016 Premier League matchup at the Vicarage Road on Saturday, December 5.
Watford had been the most successful of the three teams promoted from the Football League Championship with five wins and four draws in 14 games so far this season.
The Hornets defeated bottom-dweller Aston Villa in a high-scoring 3-2 affair at the Villa Park last Saturday to move up to 11th place in the overall standings, according to BBC Sport.
Striker Odion Ighalo opened the scoring at the 17th-minute mark before the Villans' captain Micah Richards equalized it four minutes before the halftime break.
An own goal by Villa defender Alan Hutton at the 69th gave the lead back to Quique Sánchez Flores' side, then striker Troy Deeney made it 3-1 at the 85th to seal the game for Watford.
Villa forward Jordan Ayew netted a consolation goal one minute before full time to complete the final score.
Meanwhile, Norwich City forced contending squad Arsenal to a 1-1 tie at their home field of Carrow Road last Sunday, via The Guardian.
Gunners forward Mesut Özil scored the opening goal at the 30th, but striker Lewis Grabban was able to level it 13 minutes later to preserve the draw and a point in the league table for the Canaries.
This match is expected to be highly defensive as both squads are familiar with each other, but the Hornets will prevail in the end.
The predicted result is Watford over Norwich City, 1-0.
