Struggling squads Southampton FC (5-4-5, 20 points) and Aston Villa FC (1-11-2, 5 points) will try to gain a rare victory as they play each other for a 2015-2016 Premier League game at the St. Mary's Stadium on December 5th.

Southampton is currently on a two-game losing slide and had only won two games of their last six to hover in the middle of the standings at the no. 10 spot.

Their last match was a horrible 1-3 loss to Manchester City also at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday, via Sports Mole.

The Saints gave up two early scores to Kevin De Bruyne and Fabian Delph in the first 20 minutes of the game before forward Shane Long was able to answer with a goal at the 49th minute.

However, City defender Aleksandar Kolarov scored at the 69th to finalize the count for Manchester.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa remained at the bottom of the team standings as they had only won once in 14 games so far in the season.

Villa is on a two-game losing streak and has lost five of their last six, with their most recent game a heartbreaking 2-3 defeat to Watford at the Villa Park last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

Team captain Micah Richards and striker Jordan Ayew provided the goals for the Villans, but it was defender Alan Hutton's own goal at the 69th which led to their ultimate demise.

The predicted result is Southampton over Aston Villa, 2-1. There seems to be no end in sight for the struggles of Rémi Garde's team this season.
