"Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen's legal troubles are beginning, following his admission in November that he is HIV-positive.
The first to file a lawsuit against him is ex-girlfriend Scottine Ross, also known as the porn actress Brett Rossi. The 26-year-old sued Sheen on Thursday on charges of assault, negligence and emotional distress, reports Pagesix.
Besides allegedly forcing her to have an abortion, Sheen also had sex with her five times before he disclosed his HIV diagnosis, Ross claims. She became pregnant in 2014 and he forced her to abort the fetus. Ross also says that he kicked and choked her several times when they were in a relationship for one year.
Ross filed the lawsuit at the California Superior Court. Although several other women with who the actor had sex have threatened to sue Sheen, the porn actress is the first to file one since his November disclosure that he was diagnosed HIV-positive in 2011.
A man with whom Sheen allegedly had unprotected sex reportedly filed a lawsuit against Sheen a few years ago, but the actor settled with him, according to reports.
Sheen's lawyers said they would fight Ross's lawsuit. When he first met her in November 2013, Sheen paid Ross $10,000 to have sex with him. Because they became a couple, they eventually had unprotected sex as many couples in a romantic relationship do.
People reports that Sheen initially agreed to settle with her for $1 million and 5 percent of his back end participant points from "Anger Management," claims her lawyer. However, he allegedly backed out of the agreement and refused to sign the settlement after his "Today" interview on Nov. 17.
