CES 2015 is a big tech event this year as a lot of tech makers and manufacturers showcased their offerings, one of which is Razer.

Razer introduced its Nabu X Wearable Band, its new Android powered gaming console and streaming box called Forge TV, Razer Serval Bluetooth Controller, Razer Turret and its own VR called OSVR Hacker Dev Kit, Game N Guide reported.

Razer collaborated with Sensics to work with their Open Source Virtual Reality which is planned to be released come June 2015. According to IGN, the open-source VR (both software and hardware), priced at $200, is equipped with 5.5 inch 1080 x 1920 FHD display that runs 60 fps.

Compatibility wise, it is said that the new VR will work with Android, Linux and Windows. Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, Sixense device plug-ins, Bosch and LeapMotion plug-ins as well as rival's Vrvana's Totem and Oculus Rift Dev Kit is also said to be compatible with OSVR, Techcrunch reported.

On the other hand, Razer's Forge TV offers a cutting-edge experience for gaming and entertainment that will let gamers play official Android games, which are downloaded from Google Play Store, through their TV. Any games from publishers that uses DirectX9 or higher can also be played through Forge TV via its streaming functionality.

Along with the Forge TV, Razer Serval Bluetooth Controller priced at $79.99 or Razer Turret, a wireless mouse and lapboard combo priced at $130, can be used while playing compatible games.

Razer products are specifically made for gamers as its slogan says "For Gamers, By Gamers." It can be recalled that the first product the company created was introduced in 1998, it is called Boomslang - a high-end computer gaming mouse.
