"Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 11 will not air until January 2016 but showrunner Jeff Davis has already revealed a few major spoilers. It was said that the premiere episode will focus on Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Malia's (Shelley Hennig) relationship.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Davis shared fans of Stalia will be happy to know that romance is still on the table. The executive producer said that both of the characters will explore their dark side come season 5b. It was said that Malia is still determined to kill her own mother.
Davis explained that it is interesting to see how their relationship developed over time, from breaking up to getting back together again. He said that it shows a different side to both Stiles and Malia every time.
"One of my favorite romantic scenes from a movie is from Last of the Mohicans when he says, 'You stay alive! I will find you! Stay alive!' And those are the kinds of things that we strive for, which are not necessarily scenes of soap opera where one person says I love you, you're the greatest thing in my life, I couldn't live without you, but more along the lines of 'Stay alive becuase I can't live without you', which is underneath that. That's what we strive for," he explained.
Davis also shared that there will be no time jump, explaining that episode 11 will immediately take place after the mid-season finale. He added that fans should look forward to what happens to Lydia (Holland Roden) in the Eichen House.
