There is a possibility that Dylan O'Brien is leaving "Teen Wolf" because of his busy schedule filming movies but before that, his character Stiles and Lydia (Holland Roden) may finally become more than friends, according to "Teen Wolf" show runner Jeff Davis.
In an interview with Forbes after the New York Comic Con in October, Davis said that O'Brien is such a movie star these days. Aside from playing Stiles in "Teen Wolf," O'Brien recently starred in "The Maze Runner" sequel titled "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials."
After "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," O'Brien is also set to star in "Deepwater Horizon" opposite "Ted 2" star Mark Wahlberg and "Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez. The film will hit theaters on Sept. 30, 2016.
"I think I might have to prepare myself to lose him at some point," Davis said of O'Brien being part of the "Teen Wolf" cast. "They might have to lose me at some point."
In the interview post- New York Comic Con, Davis also said there is a possibility for him to do a "Teen Wolf" movie with Tyler Posey. However, he said he and the actor also talked about doing a romantic comedy because he thinks the "Yoga Hosers" actor is such a good romantic lead.
In another interview with Hollywood Life, Davis shared what fans can expect from the remaining episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 5. He said that it "definitely going to be a pretty epic moment" in the two-part episode of 515 and 516.
While Davis said Stiles getting Lydia out of Eichen House will be an "epic moment," the "Teen Wolf" show runner said he did not want to tease too much because they want it to be surprising.
"Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 11 is expected to air on Jan. 5, 2016. It will pick up from the episode that aired on Aug. 24 showed Scott McCall (Posey) and his pack's encounter with their greatest enemy yet with both lives and friendships on the brink of being ruined.
