Gogoro unveiled their latest conquest, the Gogoro Electric Scooter. Following the Tesla move to be independent from oil, Gogoro created the electric scooters. Aiming to reduce the dependency on oil, this electric scooter runs it juice from battery technology.

Since this ride is powered by electricity, it is most likely going to be reviewed in detail by MyProScooter in the coming weeks. Watch out for the technical specification of the scooter there. 

The Smartscooter from Gogoro is the company's debut product. Horace Luke, Gogoro's Chief Executive Officer, believed that the public can use a ride that runs on battery and does not depend on oil itself. Unveiling the Gogoro Smartscooter at the CES display this year made an impact at the show. It finally uncovered the company's secret project since its inception in 2011.

The Gogoro Smartscooter is comprised of the basic aspects. Speed, it runs at top speed of 60mph; a 50-50 weight distribution at 247 pounds; and a coefficient of 0.72; it is mostly what is needed for running about. Its chasis and suspension are custom made. It has a custom powertrain too. One can travel for a distance of 30 to 60 miles on a fully charged battery. The scooter holds an 8.58 HP and 18 lb.-ft. torque engine. According to Gogoro specialists, the smartscooter is more powerful compared to the gas powered 125cc engine.

Gogoro has also planned to set up battery charging stations where users can swap the depleted ones with a fully charged battery. With this planned setup Gogoro GoStations, it will be easy to run about without delays.

Moreover, Gogoro has an app where information can be stored for users to find where the scooter was parked, and keep info while driving around. The app will inform the battery level and tells when it is time to charge. It also has the locations of the nearest GoStation from the current location of the Smartscooter.
