Lena Dunham was particular about this year's Golden Globes Wardrobe as she tries to secure her nipples with nipple pasties.
According to E! News, Dunham's friend Jenni Konner posted a picture on Instagram showing her almost topless self and her fully protected nipples. The photo was cationed, "#FREETHENIPPLE cover. @lenadunham."
Luckily, the "Girls" star was also protected by her stunning red gown by Zac Posen. Dunham appeared at the Golden Globes with her date and co-star Andrew Rannells.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Dunham revealed that she is pulling away from her Twitter account.
"I deleted Twitter because I'm trying to create a safer place for me emotionally," said Dunham.
She added that her Twitter account gives access to people who are threatening her life and calling her a "cow."
She admitted that she would sometimes check her account but not to the point that she is overly co-dependent to the social media tool. Even though she wanted to connect with people using Twitter, it has also become inevitable for her to read impolite comments.
Meanwhile, Dunham has the right to be cautious when it comes to wardrobe malfunctions as so many stars have already fallen pit to it.
It was just last year with Robin Wright accepted the award for Best Actress in Television Series during the Golden Globes 2014. But during her speech, "Nurse Jackie" actress slightly turned away from the audience and revealed her pasties that was covering her nipple.
The unfortunate event was caused by her gold-beaded Reem Acra gown shifting in her body, as reported by US Magazine.
It was a minor incident but the social media critics could not help but comment.
Costume designer Luke Reichle sent out a tweet about this saying, "Robin Wright ALSO wins for best wardrobe malfunction!"
