The "X-men" franchise has added the latest installment the "X-men Apocalypse" that has caused a stir on social media, only hours after its trailer release.
According to Comicbook, this is the fourth film directed by Bryan Singer and the ninth of the "X-men" franchise. The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, Ben Hardy. A screenplay by Simon Kinberg is scheduled for release on May 27, 2016, in North America in both 3D and 2D.
The "X-men" trailer has had over 14 million views on YouTube just a day after its release and #xmenapocalypse on Twitter has had thousands of mentions from fans quoting their favorite lines of the trailer. The trailer, whose soundtrack hunted is done by snow ghosts, kicks off with "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner who plays Jean in the movie saying she saw the end of the world in her dream justifying the title "Apocalypse". An apocalypse translated literally from Greek, is a disclosure of knowledge or revelations.
A hint of Jean Grey's (Sophie Turner) future and how her powers will develop as the character evolves gets given in the trailer, and her revelation comes to pass when the Apocalypse is awakened and recruits a team of powerful mutants so as to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, Variety reported.
