Italians apparently have a fascination for porn stars. One became a legislator and another a major Hollywood star. Another one will run an Italian football team.
She is Sara Tommasi who has retired from the business of disrobing and having sex in front of the cameras to running Marrivium, an amateur football team. However, while she does not have prior experience running a sports team, she is apparently familiar with football since Tommesi used to date Italian footballer Ronaldinho and Mario Balotelli.
News.com.au reports that it is not only football stars whom the 34-year-old former porn star is familiar with but also political stars. One of them is former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi who she met at one of his notorious Bunga Bunga private parties.
She recalls that the then PM was impressed with her looks, beauty and intelligence that he encouraged her to try politics. However, Tommesi told Berlusconi that she just wanted to be an actress.
To signal her entry into football, Marruvium held a signing ceremony with their sexy manager. Her online fame - with 96,000 Twitter followers and 36,000 Instagram followers - is expected to benefit the amateur team which plays in Group B of the Abruzzo region's second division. Abruzzo is located east of Rome on the Adriatic coast.

Before Tommasi, another female porn star who had crossed from adult films to politics is Ciccolina. Sylvester Stallone, more known for his "Rambo" and "Rocky" movies, starred in an Italian softcore porn film in the 1970s titled "Party at Kitty and Stud's." He was only 24 then and was a struggling actor who agreed to a $200 talent fee. The film was eventually rereleased as "Italian Stallion" when he became famous, according to Rolling Stone.
