There are rumors that the "The Elder Scrolls 6" game will progress after Alduin's death, who is the main antagonist of the game franchise.
It was reported earlier that "The Elder Scrolls 6" may not get released until the year 2019. The reason which was cited behind this was that the game developer Bethesda was focusing on "The Elder Scrolls Online" and "Fallout 4."
According to reports, it is guaranteed that "Skyrim 2" will see its implementation in the upcoming game of the franchise, according to iDigital Times. At this point, this may be the only clue which the gamers can count on for "The Elder Scrolls 6."
In the past as well, Bethesda's Pete Hines had revealed that the developers will be spitting out a "Skyrim 2" in a year or two. Hines stated this in relation to how other game developers handled their franchise in his opinion.
As he definitely used the words "Skyrim 2" instead of the expected "The Elder Scrolls 6," it is a strong indicator that the upcoming game will be set once again in the north instead of older locations or entirely new places.
Gamers are waiting anxiously to see how the game will progress after the death of Alduin and who will now be the new antagonist of the game, in his place.
It is believed that Bethesda needs a time frame of at least four years to develop a new "The Elder Scrolls" title. This supports the speculation that the game may not hit the shelves any time before the year 2019, according to MNR Daily.
