"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder is reportedly having issues with his co-stars on the hit The CW series.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the 37-year-old actor has been distancing himself from Paul Wesley, Candice Accola, Kat Graham and the like after rumors circulated that they preferred working with Nina Dobrev over him.
The publication claimed that Dobrev did the right thing by leaving "The Vampire Diaries" last season because she was also having problems with Somerhalder at that time.
In fact, the rumors that Dobrev and Somerhalder's wife Nikki Reed were feuding weren't true. Rather, Reed was the one who even tried to convince Dobrev to stick around to the show.
Now, Reed is seemingly doing the same thing. Since she wants her husband to stay with "The Vampire Diaries" for as long as possible, she is reportedly talking to some of the actor's co-stars.
Meanwhile, the publication also said that Reed has been convincing Somerhalder to try on new projects just in case "The Vampire Diaries" will be axed after season 7.
If this happens, Reed wants her husband to finish his contract with the franchise, and not leave before the show is cancelled.
As of late, none of these rumors have been confirmed, and Somerhalder is still actively filming his upcoming episodes for the hit The CW series.
In fact, one episode will focus on his character Damon Salvatore, and his struggles while being trapped inside the mysterious Phoenix Stone.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
