"Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan is back to work after suffering from a rare disease brought by mosquitoes. The 28-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a photo of her during an official meeting on Jan. 17, Saturday, for her upcoming Lionsgate movie titled "Inconceivable."
In the Instagram photo, Lohan poses with the film director Jonathan Baker and her manager Evan Hainey.
During the holiday vacation, Lohan was on her luxurious trip in France when she was infected by the rare disease called Chikugunya.
It was exactly a year ago when Lohan announced at the Sundance Film Festival that she will be starring in and producing a psychological thriller "Inconceivable."
It will cost about $5 million to make and it will be funded by Emmett/Furla films, the independent film company behind the war movie "Lone Survivor," according to The Wall Street Journal.
Meanwhile, a fan of Lohan named Daniel Vorderwulbecke has been deemed fit to stand trial after allegations he has been harassing the actress, which he denies, Hollywood has learned.
Vorderwulbecke allegedly bombarded Lohan with more than 1,000 texts and social media messages. The harassment was said to have taken place from September to November 2014 while Lohan was in London in a production of David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow."
In October 2014, police detained Vorderwulbecke on suspicion of harassment, criminal damage and assault and was later on released on bail to a specialist mental health hospital. He underwent testing in the hospital to determine whether or not he is fit to stand trial.
Recently, a judge has given the case the approval and Lohan is expected to give evidence at his trial on May 28.
