"Supernatural" Season 11 took to a winter break after airing an explosive midseason finale (Episode 9) and it will continue to be on hiatus until late January, 2016. Fans must note there will be no new segment this week. The CW's fan-favourite show will return with Episode 10 (midseason premiere) on Jan. 20, 2016. Here are few spoilers for those eager fans who can't wait to find out what happens next.

The CW series midseason finale ended with some mind blowing cliffhangers. All grown Amara ended up kissing Dean and made the big revelation that they are meant to be together. As for Sam, he finally finds out the source of his visions. Lucifer reveals that it wasn't' the God, but himself who was playing with Sam's mind.
1. So what happens when the show returns? The First and the foremost thing one can expect to see is the aftermath of "Supernatural" Season 11 big revelations and fallouts.
2. Meanwhile, fans are wondering that will Dean have an affair with Amara. Does he think that she is his one true love? Considering Amara is The Darkness, will Dean reciprocate her feelings?
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles, who plays the role of Dean Winchester, teases the possibility of Amara not being the Season 11's big bad.
"It's weird. We're setting it up as the ultimate evil, but there's also this question of, 'Well, is it?' And I think we're going to try to play with that a little bit. So does she think that everyone is the enemy? No, I don't think so. It's an interesting character and I don't know how we're going to deal with it," Jensen Ackles said.
3. At the same time, fans will get a late Christmas-themed segment. A promo video for "Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 10 showcases Lucifer dressed as a Santa and Crowley receives Santa's figurine as his Christmas gift.
4. Dean will also be heading to The Hell in an attempt to rescue his brother who has been caged and is being victimised by Lucifer's tricks. Speaking about the midseason finale and premiere to TV Line, Jared Padalecki, who plays the role of Sam, revealed the introduction of some news twists.
"Episodes 9 (the fall finale) and 10 are my favorite episodes of 'Supernatural' in a long, long time. I love the twists and turns - none of which I can probably say without getting out of here alive," Jared Padelecki said.
5. For more, fans can expect Episode 10 to delve deeper into Crowley and Rowena's backstory. In an interview with Nerdist, actress Ruth Connell, who portrays Rowena, revealed "Supernatural" Season 11 "The Devil in the Details" will reveal some more "backstory." She said fans will find out more about her character and "why she is the way she is."
