Chinese mixed martial arts featherweight champions Li Kai Wen and Yang Sen are scheduled to face each other in a ONE Championship 36 event dubbed as ONE Wujie: Dynasty of Champions at the Changsha Stadium in Changsha, China on January 23.

The said Chinese versus Chinese match is part of the undercard of the main event title bout between the defending ONE bantamweight champion Bibiano "The Flash" Fernandes of Brazil and Kevin "The Silencer" Belingon of the Philippines, as reported by Sportsrageous.

Li, who has a professional record of 4-2-0 win-loss-draw, is currently on a three-fight winning streak. He won the inaugural Beijing Featherweight Championship in 2014 by defeating two fighters in one night.

Li's most recent fight was a TKO victory via punches in 4:52 of the first round over Chinese-American Nathan Ng, who is fighting for Hong Kong, during the ONE Championship: Pride of Lions event in November 2015.

Meanwhile, Yang is virtually a newbie in the fight game and so far dons a professional record of 2-0, also winning the second edition of the Beijing Featherweight Championship last year.

The report noted that Yang has "impeccable striking and well-calculated offense", which has made him undefeated in the ONE cage to this early point of his career.

"ONE Championship continues its dedication to cultivating the sport of mixed martial arts in China with another adrenaline-filled night of fights," said ONE Chief Executive Officer Victor Cui, as per MMA Fighting. "This is a great way to start 2016 and is just the tip of the iceberg of what's to come. Our success in Beijing sets the stage for an even better event in Changsha."
