Devon Sawa played the title role in the music video of Eminem's "Stan" featuring Dido.

Released on Dec. 9, 2000, the song "Stan" by Eminem featuring Dido is considered one of the best songs of the earlier. Recently, Devon Sawa revealed that he is still a big fan of the "Rap God" rapper just like the title role in the "Stan" music video.

In an interview with Spin, Sawa said he loves Eminem and he buys all of his CDs. He added that playing Stan is still one of the best things he has done.

As Sawa pointed out, Eminem was not as famous as he is now in 2000 when the "Stan" music video was made. However, the actor must have seen the rapper and the song's potential that he had to "beg and plead" with his agents to allow him to do it.

"So, for me to come off of 'Final Destination' and go right on to a music video for an unknown white rapper was a really hard sell," Sawa explained. He was referring to the 2000 horror thriller film, in which he starred with Ali Larter and Kerr Smith.

According to Sawa, filming the "Stan" music video is one of the best three-day experiences he has ever had especially because it was Dr. Dre who was directing it. Eminem was signed to Dr. Dre's record label in 1998, which was a year before the earlier released his second studio album "The Slim Shady LP."

Meanwhile, Sawa is set to reprise his role as Sean in "Punk's Dead: SLC Punk 2." Written and directed by James Merendino, it is a sequel to the 1998 film "SLC Punk!"

Set to be released on Feb. 11, Thursday, the sequel also stars Ben Schnetzer, Hannah Marks, Sarah Clarke, James Duval, Adam Pascal, Michael A. Goorjan, Jenny Gaffe, Jarrod Phillips, Emma Pace and Levi Wilson, among others. Also in the cast is rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who is scheduled to perform in Mainstage Morgantown in Morgantown, West Virginia on May 21, The Daily Athenauem reported.

Aside from "Punk's Dead: SLC Punk 2," Sawa is also set to star in the TV movie "Animal Kingdom" opposite Scott Speedman and Ellen Barkin. The crime drama film is directed by John Wells and written by Jonathan Lisco.
