Several artists would love to do one of the things Rihanna, 27, and Gwen Stefani, 46, have done, which is to collaborate with "Rap God" rapper Eminem, 43. The latest artist to express his interest in collaborating with the Detroit rapper is the heavy metal band Slipknot's lyricist and lead singer Corey Taylor, 42.
In a recent interview with Rocksverige, Taylor was asked about the list of artists he would likw to work with. He mentioned industrial rock project Nine Inch Nails leader Trent Reznor, 50, and Eminem.
"I would love to trade some stuff back and forth with him," Taylor said of Eminem. He added that he is very attracted to the way the "Rap God" rapper writes and the attitude and emotion in his lyrics.
Taylor pointed that that his dream of collaborating with Eminem may never happen. However, he said that he never thought that he would work with rock band Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, 47.
On Jan. 20, Taylor was with his Slipknot band mates for a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden. Aside from Slipknot, he is also the frontman of the rock band Stone Sour.
On Jan. 28, Thursday, Eminem was spotted in New York City where he met with Lin-Manuel Miranda, 36, backstage after a performance of the "Hamilton" musical, Just Jared reported. The two are both rappers and lyricists.
It has yet to be confirmed if Eminem is reaching out to Miranda to collaborate with him in his upcoming ninth studio album. The latter took to Twitter to share a photo of himself with the "Rap God" rapper.
