Samsung's next Note device, Galaxy Note 6, will be the successor of Galaxy Note 5.

Samsung is all set to release its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge+ on Feb. 21 at the much-anticipated Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. However, reports have surfaced that Samsung will be releasing Galaxy Note 6, and not Galaxy S7 Edge+ in Europe.

It is said that releasing Galaxy Note 6 in Europe is a part of Samsung's correction strategy, Vine Report reported. It can be noted that Samsung had released Galaxy S6 Edge+ instead of Galaxy Note 5 in Europe, which is now being considered a mistake. It is said that choosing to release Galaxy S6 Edge+ instead of Galaxy Note 5 was "not popular," and received a "backlash from loyal Note fans." Hence, Samsung is planning to release Galaxy Note 6, instead of its Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, in Europe to make up for earlier mistake.

Meanwhile, according to Lawyer Herald, there is not much difference between Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge +, except the fact that the former had a stylus and major upgrades over the latter.

According to reliable sources, Galaxy Note 6 shall be unveiled in United Kingdom in August this year. It is speculated that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 shall be a stylus equipped phablet. It may have a display screen between 5.7 inches to 6.2 inches, and may likely be accompanied by a Samsung S Pen Stylus that enables users to doodle and make notes on screen.

Galaxy Note 6 is speculated to sport a swanky metal and glass design. It may feature an iris scanner and fingerprint sensor as security features. According to International Business Times, Galaxy Note 6 shall have a powerful 16-core processor backed by 8 GB RAM. This shall allow support for front line gaming.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is also rumored to have a 30 MP primary camera and a 16 MP or a 7 MP front camera. It shall most probably run on new Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and may offer a variety of internal storage options.
