Reviewers and users have high worships for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, but it is also obvious that these two devices have many issues when it comes to their batteries, which aren't fixed yet. However, Microsoft is claiming that the issues can be resolved in no time as something is coming around the corner.
As reported by Android Origin, despite the continued battery issue of the Surface lineup, recent statements from Microsoft say that the issue can be resolved pretty soon, and users will be able to secure their benefits by then; although, there are no written details as to the inclusion of the solution that Microsoft will be providing for the issue.
The timetable for the launch of the fix on the battery issues show a strong indication that it should arrive anytime next week, or in the next few days.
Meanwhile, Microsoft claimed that there were still battery issues existing on the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book models when it unveiled a firmware update for them late last month. At that time, the company claimed they were working to fix the battery issue more than the firmware updates to be complete. With the update last month, it tried to resolve all other issues within these products, which extended battery charging to thermal tuning and Bluetooth performance.
The existing battery issues of the Surface lineups have been ongoing for quite some time, and they keep the devices draining power even when closed or idle. It simply means that users can lose up to 20 percent of battery life even when the device is dormant. It also led to abnormal spikes in temperature, as per reports.
If this problem on the Surface lineup is resolved, one can expect more sales in these specific products than it was from the start. Meanwhile, one has to stay tuned till the fixes are released.
For reference, ever since Microsoft launched Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, both devices already sold thousands of units, as both devices have powerful specs and amazing features.
