2K News and Updates; 'WWE 2K16' PC version pre-orders available; game coming on March 11

WWE 2K16 is professional wrestling video game base on Word Wrestling Entertainment developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Games.

2K has confirmed that PC pre-orders for "WWE 2K16" PC versions are currently available at a price of $50 on Steam besides disclosing that the game will be released on a worldwide scale come March 11.

2K made the announcement on Feb. 17 on its official website citing that it was excited to introduce the PC version of the "WWE 2K16" game. The game developer also quoted that the same PC version is in the final stages of development and will eventually mirror the entire in-game content from the Xbox One and Play Station editions.

The upcoming "WWE 2K16" will feature the largest roster in WWE video games history. According to 2K, besides the full "WWE 2K16" game, two other playable versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger from the "Terminator" franchise will be included. Also, players will have another option of choosing "T-800" from the initial movie or from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

Other playable characters will include WWE legends like Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes (American Dream), Curt Hennig (Mr. Perfect), Roddy Piper (Rowdy) and Trish Stratus. The game will also include tag teams "Los Matadores,"Samoa Joe, Blake and Murphy.

Features of the game that will be included on purchase will take account of "Accelerator" and "MyPlayer Kickstart." "MyPlayer Kickstart" will increase the ratings and attributes of a created superstar in the "MyCareer" mode while "Accelerator" will give access to all unlockable content.

Furthermore, a gamer will access 30 additional moves for their created superstar including Kevin Owen's sidewinder Suplex, Paige's Avalanche Ram, and Finn Balor's Dragon sleeper. Even more, seven other playable matches for the 2015 Hall of Fame mode will also be included, Rocket Paper Shotgun reported.

"WWE 2K16" was developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts and was released on Xbox and Play station consoles earlier in October 2015. The March 11 release is the second time that the "WWE 2K" series will be available for PC after the "WWE 2K15" release in 2015.
