Lenovo announces the YOGA 710 Windows 10 hybrid laptop.

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016) event, Chinese PC maker Lenovo announces three new Windows 10 hybrid laptops.

The first of the new laptops is the Lenovo YOGA 710 which will be available as an 11-inch device or a 14-inch device when it goes on sale in May. Both the 11-inch and the 14-inch version of the device can be used in the laptop, stand, tent and tablet positions, and Lenovo explains that the Yoga 710 is "for travelers and mobile workers who are productive on the road".

As reported by VentureBeat, both versions of the YOGA 710 offer Dolby Audio Premium, FHD (1920x1080) screens and they also offer up to 8 hours of battery life, which should be more than enough for long journeys with the device.

The big difference between the two versions of the YOGA 710 is that while the 11-inch YOGA 710 has an Intel Core m5 processor, the 14-inch model has an Intel Core i7 processor that also comes with "an innovative hinge antenna that delivers up to 20 percent better Wi-Fi connections than before."

These differences are reflected in the price, as Lenovo and its partnered retailers will sell the 11-inch YOGA 710 for €799, while prices for the 14-inch YOGA 710 starts at €899.

A bigger (yet cheaper) alternative to the YOGA 710 is the Lenovo YOGA 510, which is also known as the Flex 4 in North American markets. The hybrid Windows 10 device is available as either a 14-inch or 15-inch version, reports ubergizmo but other than the sizes and the price (€479/$533 USD for the 14-inch, €699/$778 USD for the 15-inch), the specs of the two devices are the same.

Both versions of the Lenovo YOGA 510 offer up to 8 and a half hours of battery life, they both have an Intel Core i7 processor and they come with an optional AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GFX as well. Moreover, Lenovo says that the device has "serious performance chops for working and multitasking" and will be available in April.

The ideapad MIIX 310, meanwhile, is a 2-in-1 tablet as it comes with a detachable keyboard). Set to go on sale in June of this year, the 10-inch device will offer up to 10 hours of battery life along with optional 4G LT and an optional FHD display. It also allows for up to 64GB eMMC storage and 4GB DDR3L of memory.

Lenovo says that price for the ideapad MIIX 310 begin at €269/$299 USD.
