Chinese manufacturing giant Lenovo unveiled on Monday at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016 in Las Vegas the Yoga 900S laptop. The company's use of Intel core M processors made it possible for the new model to be a thinner and lighter version of the Yoga 900.

But along with the change in chipset, the new laptop sports a smaller 12.5-inc QHD screen that supports an active lifestyle of the user. The Verge, which compares the two models, notes there is not much difference between the two except that Yoga 900S is lighter since its weight was reduced to 2.2 pounds with the change in processer and smaller screen.

Forbes reports that Lenovo also built on the success of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and the brand introducing at CES 2016 a wide range of new products with the X1 designation. The company refreshed the ThinkPad by updating it with Skylake processors from Intel and offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of NVMe PCIe storage.

Like the 900S, the updated ThinkPad X1 is also thinner by 0.65 inches and now weighs 2.6 pound, but sports a slightly larger battery at 52Wh. That's because the Skylake processor uses less power, generates less heat and needs less cooling. The revised ThinkPad X1 would be available in the market in February at $1,299.

Lenovo also rolled out at CES 2016 the Yoga mouse which is ideal for use while traveling. The user could switch between a normal mouse mode and a remote control for media playback and volume on any Windows machine.
