With his billions, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg could afford dozens of human staff to help his wife Priscilla Chan run his household and take care of daughter Maxima. However, the billionaire would rather build this year an automated servant that would understand his voice command in controlling a lot of gadgets in his house such as sound system, lights and air conditioner or heater and make life easier.

His peg for the artificial intelligence is Jarvis, an automated servant of Tony Stark in the "Iron Man" series. In a Facebook post, Zuckerberg says he would not build it from scratch but would tap current technology available, reports Venturebeats.

Beyond his voice, Zuckerberg wants the AI robot to recognize as well the faces of his friends when they come to see him at his house and automatically let them in. The AI would also inform him or Priscilla about how things are going on at Maxima's room.

With his 2016 plans, Zuckerberg is telling the world that he does not join the group of scientists who fear that AI robots could eventually kill man. He explains, "I think we can build AI so it works for us and helps us. Some people fear-monger about how AI is a huge danger, but that seems far-fetched to me and much less likely than disasters due to widespread diseases, violence, etc."

CNN points out that Zuckerberg would likely succeed in his 2016 goal, citing his track record of meeting previous goals of speaking Mandarin and reading two books a month.
