The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature more improvements on the battle lounge and matchmaking features, as well as an "Arcade Mode" for the game.
Capcom's digital media and eSports director Neidel "Haunts" Crisan announced that "Street Fighter 5" will continue to have improvements of the matchmaking and battle lounge features of the game. Crisan stated that Capcom will continue working on the matchmaking for "Ranked" and "Casual" matches, citing the server maintenance that they did this week and expect players to have a quicker search for an opponent.
Crisan added that some countries around the globe like Europe and Middle East are still experiencing slow matchmaking issues for "Street Fighter 5", the server team is aware of the predicament and will continue to look for ways to improve the game's features. Players will slow connections will be accommodated and Capcom hopes that it will shorten the queues.
Capcom added that they are looking to improve more details on the battle lounges so that players will not be disconnected all of a sudden. Crisan and the team will be looking over the issue and try to fix it as much as they can this week, Capcom Unity reported.
In other news, its seems that "Street Fighter 5" will feature a new game mode very soon as representative from Capcom told Forbes that the sequel will be getting an "Arcade Mode" for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
"Street Fighter 5" was launched last week and several gamers commented that the sequel lacks several game modes for them to enjoy. Gamers also note that this is the only title without a proper "Arcade Mode" which has become a staple in the franchise.
Capcom added that they will add a new difficulty slide for "Street Fighter 5's" story mode. Alex will be added to the roster next month as the first DLC character in the series along with Guile, Balrog, Juri, Ibuki and Urien.
There is also a new story mode expansion coming on June as the plot will involve M.Bison and Shadowloo taking over the world.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4 and the PC platforms.
