New "Dying Light" details will feature more DLC expansions this year and a "Harry Potter" easter egg in latest gameplay video.
Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka thanked video games in support of "Dying Light's" new DLC expansion "The Following", as well as the "Dying Light: Enhanced Edition" for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. But what is great about "Dying Light" is that Marchewka stated that "Dying Light" will not just end with "The Following" expansion as he teased that more DLCs for the game will be announced soon due to the high demand that gamers have on it, PC Advisor reported.
"Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition" was available several weeks back as gamers have enjoyed new features such as riding and customizing dirt buggies, new weapons for slaying zombies, a Legend System, a new "Nightmare" difficulty mode and many more.
There are also new weapons like the crossbow and a new Bounty systems which will give players a challenge within "Dying Light" such as killing a specific number of zombies or climbing the tallest building and jump from it.
The Nightmare mode will feature players engaging stronger and more brutal A.I.zombies and mutated monsters as players must prepare for it preemptively and simply the survive the challenge of endless hordes of monsters. The draw back for Nightmare mode is that gamers are not allowed to use easter egg weapons and XP penalties are being implemented whenever they die during the game.
However, gamers will be heavily rewarded when they survive Nightmare mode as they will earn experience points very quickly, use Golden tier melee weapons and players will have a ten percent XP along with their partner in co-op mode.
In other news, a new gameplay video will feature an easter from the "Harry Potter" franchise and YouTube username TheGenericBrit provided the necesarry tips on how to find it, VG 24/7 reported.
In the video, gamers will enter an abandoned house and they will find a closet room near the stairs. Inside the room they will find a wizard's hat on the bed and glasses which is similar to Harry Potter's. On top of the shelf they will see an enchanted skull that spins by itself.
Once the skull stops spinning, players will notice that the house is making noise and when they step outside the room, a specter who looks like the Ghost Knight in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", who attended Sir Nicholas’s 500th Deathday party at Hogwarts. The ghost does not do much and players cannot attack it.
"Dying Light" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
