Here is the Android 6.0, 6.0.1 Marshmallow and Android N release news for LG Nexus 5X, LG G2, LG Nexus 5, LG G5 and other devices.

The LG G5 comes preinstalled with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, according to a report from Digital Trends. Also, the Nexus 5X runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.

The LG G2 smartphone was recently found benchmarked on the Geekbench benchmarking site. Surprisingly, it was found running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. At present, there is no information on when the electronics company LG will release the latest Marshmallow update to the owners of LG G2.

LG has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update of 850 MB for the international variants of LG V10 in Turkey, South Korea and other regions of the world. The Android 6.0 update comes with the build number MRA58K.

The company has brought the stock Android Marshmallow functionality to the LG V10 such as dynamic automatic brightness adjustment, reworked silent mode, new app settings and permissions, Direct Share and the power-saving Doze Mode. In addition, QMemo+ app has been renamed to Capture Plus and LG Bridge has been renamed to LG AirDrive.

The LG G Stylo owners on Sprint had got Android Marshmallow update in December last year. According to recent reports, LG G Stylo users on T-Mobile are getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

However, LG has not yet rolled out the Android 6.0 M update to LG G Flex 2.

LG G4 owners on Sprint had got the latest Marshmallow update in December 2015. The Android M update was made available to US Cellular LG G4 in January this year.

According to reports, the international variants of the LG G4 smartphone and the mobile carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T had got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in February.

Furthermore, the software giant Google has released the Android N Developer Preview. The LG Nexus 5 was not included in the list of devices that will get the Android N Developer Preview 1 edition. But, according to several reports, the developers are at present testing the Android N for LG device.

The software company has announced that the update will be available for Google Pixel C, Nexus Player, Nexus 9 LTE, Nexus 6, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, BGR reported.

The Android N (final edition) will be released in the third quarter of 2016. However, Google will roll out five preview versions of Android N through over-the-air update before rolling out the final build.
