'Persona 5' PS4 release date details set for May 2016; Sequel to feature previous 'Persona' characters?

Persona 5 is an upcoming JRPG being developed by Atlus of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console

New "Persona 5" details will feature the possible release date for the PlayStation 4 and other characters from the previous titles to appear in the sequel.

Several rumors are making rounds about the possible release date for "Persona 5" in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles.Atlus intended to launch "Persona 5" within the summer this year, but with no specific date as of yet.

However, a Reddit user claim that "Persona 5" could be release in the PlayStation consoles on May 2016. Several gaming fans speculated that since the summer in Japan starts on May, Atlus might be preparing themselves for "Persona 5's" launch date before before the month of May, N4BB reported.

Previous reports revealed that Anime retailer shop, Animate tweeted several photos of "Persona 5" merchandises around a store in Machida, Tokyo area, giving Japanese gaming fans some clue that the sequel could indeed launch this year as Atlus promised.

In other news, it seems that "Persona 5" could be featuring several characters from previous titles to join the Phantom Thieves in their quest for "Justice".

Several gaming fans suggested that characters from "Persona 3" and "Persona 5" could make an appearance into the game such as Yu Narukami, Chie Satonaka, Naoto Shirogane and Aigis. Both "Persona" are featured in crossover games such as "Persona: Arena" and "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

There are other suggestion such as havig the protagonist of "Persona 5" fully voiced, giving some diaglogues besides preaching "Persona" during battle making the sequel very unique from previous titles, Gamingbolt reported.

Game director Katsura Hashino stated that the dungeons within "Persona 5" will have impressive feel into the game as the dungeon designs will be unique and different from the previous titles, teasing that each dungeon will be "enjoyable" for the fans when the y play the game.

Atlus added that there are more improvements in the "Social Links" in "Persona 5" as it could make a huge step into the game in terms of human relations being better than that of "Persona 3" and "Persona 4".

Hashino revealed that Atlus will make a huge announcement regarding "Persona 5" during the series 20th anniversary celebration as it will excite the gaming fans and urge them to be update in the sequels development.

"Persona 5" will launch in the summer 2016 in Japan and sometime in 2016 in the United States for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
