‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ release date updates: ‘Fallout 4’ secret launch box hinting towards a big announcement at E3? [VIDEO]

'The Elder Scrolls' is a series of action role-playing open world fantasy video games primarily developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

Bethesda is a reputable game publisher because of its two successful franchises - "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and the recently released "Fallout 4." While other publishers release installment within the shortest time possible, Bethesda takes time to release installments in the series sometimes separated by five years.

Currently, the game publisher has decided to focus on just one game at a time, wherein each takes a fair bit time to develop. As a result, fans possibly did not expect the company to announce anything spectacular at E3 this year, given that "Fallout 4" only came out last year. Bethesda has a tradition of not announcing games until they are very close to release.

However, it appears as if the publisher may actually be set for an announcement in June as Geek Snack posted a long article about a secret in "Fallout 4" DLC, Automatron. The secret is a lunch box, something that is hardly rare in the game and in most cases has stickers.

The lunch box in Automatron is conspicuous since the sticker on it is on the sides as opposed to being at the back or front. The sticker has the word "June" written on it.

E3 will be held in June, and it is likely that the lunch box is hinting something for the event, especially considering that there is no Vault Dweller called June in "Fallout 4." June Warwick in the game is not a Vault Dweller, indicating the box cannot be hers. The major question is whether the tease is a sly wink at E3.

During the event, there are two possibilities fans can anticipate - more "Fallout 4" DLCs or "The Elder Scrolls 6."

It is five years since "Skyrim" came out in 2011, so there are high chances that a new "Elder Scrolls" game will be released. Bethesda's internal structure has undergone some changes, and they are now dealing with multiple projects, meaning that the likelihood of an "Elder Scrolls 6" announcement is not at remote as fans may think, according to GamingBolt.

"Elder Scrolls 6" could be launching as early as by the end of 2016 or early 2017. Watch the footage below for further details.
