'Suicide Squad' movie update: Film director praise Jared Leto's performance as the Joker; International trailer streamed, sequel in the works soon [VIDEOS]

Jared Leto is The Joker in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad."

New "Suicide Squad" details will feature a new international trailer, a sequel in the works soon and the film's director praises Jared Leto as The Joker.

 A new international trailer for "Suicide Squad" has been released and it showcased the members or Task Force X such as Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Killer Croc ( Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara) and many more do some intense mayhem and destruction as they go on with their mission.

The video features the same contents in the first trailer with the "Bohemian Rhapsody" playing in the background and features the teams many abilities and powers such as Deadshot's arsenal of weapons and inhuman precision and El Diablo's (Jay Hernandez) fire manipulation. The Joker (Jared Leto) and The Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) are seen as the main antagonist of the film.

Aside from the international trailer, "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer has praised "30 Secods to Mars" singer Jared Leto for his portrayal of the Joker during the film's set. Ayer told Total Films (via DC Vertigo Daily] that Leto as the character is absolutely incredible to the point that his hairs stand up on the back of his neck.

Ayer added that when Leto's Joker steps into the scene, the world stops completely because of how his version of the Clown Prince of Crime was so powerful and menacing that everyone can feel his presence of the DC villain come to life. Leto's performance as The Joker could likely surpass those that have taken the character such as Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.

Leto described his version of the Joker as "Shakespearean" and a "beautiful disaster" as he takes several cues from the comics and graphic novels that featured him.

In other news, it seems that Warner Bros. is planning a sequel already for "Suicide Squad" film as study in social media from January predicted that the film put 500 percent ahead of their competitors along with "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", Screenrant reported.

Ayer will be reuniting with Will Smith in a new fantasy cop film, before they plan on having a "Suicide Squad 2" movie in the works soon and it is hinted to be on 2017.

So far, there has been no information yet regarding the sequels plot and added characters in the new Task Force X.

"Suicide Squad" will be release in cinemas on Aug. 5.
