The CEO of Atlus Naoto Hirakoa has announced before that fans will be able to play "Persona 5" during the summer season in Japan, but it seems that after the promissory announcement, there are no follow up details regarding the release of the game.
Speculations about it led to information that Atlus might not be able to fulfill the promised of their CEO, according to N4BB, and that "Persona 5's" release date might be pushed further at the end of this year or even until 2017. Although news about the game's current development are yet to surface, fans are still hoping that Atlus can follow its initial schedule relating to the "Persona 5's" debut date.
There could be a positive side about the silence of the game's developer when it comes to "Persona 5." It is because the Japanese video game developer might have decided that it would not release a statement until they are sure that "Persona 5" is on its 100 percent. This means that Atlus could be dead serious about perfecting the game; however, there is also a possibility that "Persona 5" is far from completion that is why the game's developer has not released a statement yet.
On one hand, according to Bidness ETC, "Persona 5" might not be able to have its debut until the official release of "Final Fantasy XV." The latest addition to the "Final Fantasy" series is said to be available this September. Given this information, fans do hope that Atlus would settle for an alternative if it could not make the game available by its initial debut date. Perhaps, a good alternative is a demo version of it so that fans would have an idea that the game's development is not back to square-one.
As of the moment, there are still 5 playable characters in "Persona 5," but it is expected that more characters will be added because "Persona" games are supposed to have numerous playable characters to choose from.
Nevertheless, fans are crossing their fingers and hoping that Atlus will release a positive statement in the coming days regarding the "Persona 5's" current status.
