Zlatan Ibrahimovic reacts after his shot off target during the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final First Leg match between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City

French champions Paris Saint-Germain was eliminated from the Champions League after losing 3-2 on aggregate against Manchester City. PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is blaming the loss on his club's tactics. What is next for Ibrahimovic as he set to become a free agent this summer?

"In the first half we played with a new system and what happened, happened. If it had gone well, nobody would say anything, and now people will say we gave it away," Ibrahimovic told ESPN.

The Swedish striker noted that they played better in the second half when they went back to their usual tactics. Nonetheless, it was not enough to win the matchup with the two away goal disadvantage.

PSG was expected to take the next step in the biggest competition in Europe this season. However, another quarterfinal exit means the French club was way short of their goals and a wave of new signings appears to be on the horizon.

Ibrahimovic is their player but the striker will let his contract with PSG expire at the end of the current season. He has won four straight Ligue 1 titles and is looking for the final challenge of his career.

Many top European clubs are surely going after his signature because he is still one of the best players in the world. He is a proven winner wherever he goes and according to his official website, Ibrahimovic has won a total of 28 trophies in four different countries.

He has also won a trophy every season since 2001 but the Champions League trophy still remains out of his career accomplishments. His next club is still in question but it will probably where he can challenge for that illusive trophy.

In a report by GOAL.com, several options for options for Ibrahimovic include a return to Italy and a move to MLS, Qatar and the English Premier League. The Swedish international won a handful of trophies playing in Italian clubs Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

On the other hand, MLS is expanding in quality and popularity. The arrival of Ibrahimovic in the United States would create a major buzz for the sport.

As for English clubs, he is being linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Whatever is next for Ibrahimovic, he will score goals and win trophies. Watch the video above to see his skills and wonder goals.
