"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian West sometimes gets star truck. The reality show star took to Instagram on April 23, Friday, to revisit and give an explanation about her awkward experience with Prince some years back.

Kim captioned a photo on Instagram of her onstage with the late pop star at his Madison Square Garden concert in February 2011, "I will always remember this moment with one of my favorite artists! I was so star struck I froze RIP Prince." Kris Humphries, the then Kim's boyfriend, also attended the concert, according to People.

Kim had a privilege to dance onstage, but she refused. When Prince asked her to get off the stage, the now 35-year-old reality star defended herself on Twitter, saying that she was nervous when Prince touched her.

Prince was good enough to give Kim another chance, and this time she did not disappoint. She went up on stage and redeemed herself by dancing while Prince played the piano.

Prince was found unconscious in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota on Thursday morning, April 22. He was pronounced dead the same day at 10.07 a.m. at the age of 57.

Meanwhile, Kim spend Kourtney Kardashian's 37th birthday in Iceland earlier this week before the two headed to Miami to keep the party going, according to Entertainment Tonight. Kim displayed some major cleavage in a selfies via Instagram posted on Saturday night, showing her dressed up in a lace number and diamond choker with her husband, Kanye West, seated next to her in the car.

Kim, Kourtney, and West were in Miami to attend the nuptial of David Grutman, the owner of Komodo restaurant and the LIV and STORY nightclubs. Kim's husband, their daughter, North West, and Kourtney's daughter, Penelope Disick, joined the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" stars on the gateway from Iceland.

While the group was in Florida to celebrate a friend's wedding, they turned their focus to Kourtney again on Friday night, whereby they went out to dinner with Simon Huck, Jonathan Cheban, Stephanie Sheppard, entrepreneur Jason Binn, model Isabela Range, and Kourtney's BFF, Larsa Pippen. However, Kim later became the center stage to the extent that she blocked Kanye in a group photo.
