Recording artist Justin Timberlake (L) and actress Jessica Biel attend the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on February 28, 2016 in Beverly Hills, California.

Fans of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are in for a disappointment, as the much-awaited album collaboration is reportedly not happening.

It has been learned that Spears never approached Timberlake to work with her on some new music for her comeback album, Star Pulse reported. The publication stressed that the pop star is reportedly done working on her ninth album with an intended release in June.

This also debunks rumors that the 34-year-old pop star is doing a series of "Piece of Me" concerts with Timberlake at Planet Hollywood and Casino. It has been reported that the "Suit & Tie" hit maker is considering joining the pop star, as he already missed performing on a regular basis and that he has been itching to get back on stage.

Nonetheless, the rumor mill has it that the 35-year-old singer-songwriter reportedly refuses to work with the pop star because his wife, Jessica Biel, has reportedly prohibited him because of jealousy. Biel, known for her role as Mary Camden in "7th Heaven" reportedly worries that the collaboration could jeopardize their relationship, considering that Spears and Timberlake previously dated for almost three years.

While it is no news that the married couple has been tossed with rumors claiming that their relationship is on the rocks due to Timberlake's controlling attitude, the "Bleeding Heart" actress gushed how lucky she is to have Timberlake as her spouse and stressed that their relationship has only gotten stronger.

"He supports everything that I do and that's I think why he's a wonderful partner," Biel said during her guest appearance in ''Good Morning America."

Timberlake and Biel started dating in 2007 and got engaged after four years. On Oct. 29, 2012, the couple officially tied the wedding knots at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy and welcomed their first child, Silas, in April 2015.

"It was magical. It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said in an exclusive statement sent to People magazine.
