YouTube mobile now has Google Search's deep neural network technology and can make smarter predictions about what people want to watch. Android and iOS users' of the video portal will now cherish fresher contents with more intelligent video search results.

The Android and iOS versions of YouTube just got a massive boost from Google as the search giant is now powering YouTube's mobile app with its deep neural network technology used by the search engine. This will not only allow better and smarter recommended videos for the users but also improve its prediction with each visited video, CNET reported.

"We're able to do this because Google has some of the best machine learning in the world," the publication quoted YouTube product management president Johanna Wright as saying. She said the purpose of incorporating this new feature is aimed at better understanding the users' search behavior.

Google search is driven by a state of the art deep learning AI that hardware power of millions of servers enabling it to learn users' behavior like a humans' neural network. The search engine incorporates about 500 changes to its program so searchers can find the desired results from their input keywords. Backed up by this intelligent system, YouTube's Android and iOS can now read viewers mind more predictively.

YouTube freshness, as the company calls the new feature, is now also on board which enables recommending more relevant videos that are as fresh as less than an hour, uploaded by subscribed channels.

YouTube predictions will not only get viewers' the most relevant video but also the most recently uploaded ones. A recent development also includes its much better content ID system, Kotaku reported.

Every minute nearly 400 hours of video content is uploaded to the YouTube which made the new development a challenging task because the Google's video portal recommends billions of videos to the viewers every day. The new feature of Youtube mobile app is live, but Wright did not reveal if or when this new search strategy will be also blessed to YouTube's desktop version.

As of now, YouTube mobile app users on Android and iOS can enjoy more useful videos in a lesser browsing time. The following video explains how Google's Artificial Neural Network works.
