Johnny Depp, 51, and Amber Heard, 28, reportedly tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles on Feb. 3, Tuesday.
Neither Depp nor Heard has confirmed the rumor, but other reports claim that they will go to a private island owned by Depp in the Bahamas for a bigger wedding ceremony.
"It will be a really simple ceremony. Things are in a great place with them," a source told Us Weekly. If the source is correct, very few guests will be invited and Tim Burton is likely to be one of them.
Burton and Depp became friends having eight film collaborations together, which are "Ed Wood," "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street," "Edward Scissorhands," "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride," "Sleepy Hollow" and "Alice In Wonderland."
Meanwhile, Heard is set to appear in the upcoming film "Magic Mike XXL," which stars Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez, Michael Strahan, Brandon Cyrus, George Bruer, Chad Darnell, David Silverman, Juan Piedrahita, Ric Flair and Stephen Boss, among others.
Depp and Heard met on the set of the 2011 film "Rum Diary," which was written and directed by Bruce Robinson. They came out as a couple in 2012 following Depp's split with his then partner Vanessa Paradis. On the same year, Depp and Heard got engaged.
In 2014, Depp and Heard were reportedly considering settling in the United Kingdom. Heard's father told MTV that the two were looking for a house to buy near London. He said, "They love it, I'm sure they will buy something there."
