Atlus announced the official release date and details for the upcoming JRPG sequel, "Persona 5" after the game's countdown clock has stop for its live stream event on May 5. A new trailer for "Persona 5" begun streaming online and its shows some interesting new gameplay, characters and more clues of the game's main story.

As seen in the trailer, "Persona 5's" story will be explored by a ragtag group of high school students that feel like they do not have a place in society, until one fateful event gathered them together as they have discovered a power called "Isekai-Navi". The Isekai-Navi allows them to enter the hearts of corrupt individuals and steal their malicious intents. Branding themselves as the "Phantom Thieves", they made it their mission to cleanse the world from its dark and corrupt society.

New characters are introduced in "Persona 5" such as Futuba Sakura, a bespectacled girl with orange hair who is the dungeon navigator, and a unnamed female student which Morgana will introduce to group later in the game. The sequel also features several gameplay features like "Sneak", which allows gamers to use stealth and perform stealth kills against unsuspecting foes and "All-Out-Attack" that enables party members to gang up on enemies. Gamers can also do activities outside of the dungeons such as exploring the city, doing odd jobs for money and going to school.
