Viann Zhang poses at the opening ceremony and premiere of 'La Tete Haute' ('Standing Tall') during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on May 13, 2015 in Cannes, France.

Chinese actress Viann Zhang has apologized for the racy video that appeared online and dragged her name in another scandal. Since the video clip emerged, it has sparked outrage with some fans questioning her morality.

Zhang took to Weibo her apology and explained her behavior. She was believed to kiss three men and also kissed a woman at a party. One of the men was the producer of "Song of Phoenix" Liang Zhen Hua, according to Asian Pop News. Fans had also identified the other man as Ma Ke.

In a statement posted on her micro-blog account, Zhang said that the video was taken during the birthday party of a crew member and more than 10 people were present in the party. She claimed that although they were playing, there was no kissing that happened at the celebration.

Zhang claimed that one of the men was her close friend. She explained he drew closer to her because he was saying something to her, and it became a kiss. Zhang added that the birthday celebrant hugged her and tickled her, which was misinterpreted that a man assaulted her.

Zhang also explained the part where she was seen with Mr. Liang. The Chinese model said that they were playing a game that time. When she lost the game, she said she had to do a cheek-to-cheek gesture with him.

Zhang defended that there was no kissing that happened at the party. She blamed it on the angle on how the video was taken. "In this incident, I did not do well. As a public figure, I should pay more attention. I am wrong and I am so sorry," Zhang wrote on her blog.

Zhang wanted to come out in public after the scandalous video surfaced online to explain her side. Her friends advised her not to comment anything, but Zhang felt that she needed to face it and suffer the consequences.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that it was not the first time for Zhang to run into trouble when it comes to her behavior. In 2011, Hong Kong actor Ron Ng explained to his fans how a sexy photo of Zhang resting on her bed was posted on his micro-blog, Asia One Showbiz.

The actor claimed that Zhang was the one who logged into his account and shared the photo in his micro-blog. Ng revealed that during that time, he shared with her his account details. Ng had stirred rumors that he dated Zhang in the past.
