The latest details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature a new soundtrack and game footage teaser for "Blood and Wine" DLC, as well a the expansion will be similar to the main game's storyline.
CD Proket RED revealed new soundtracks for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" upcoming DLC "Blood and Wine" as the game's music director Marcin Przybyłowicz teased a small snippet of the expansion's music on his YouTube channel.
Aside from the new soundtrack teaser, the Polish game developers also teased a new gameplay footage for "Blood and Wine" DLC in the game as they invited some popular streamers in Italy to see how the DLC looks like in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". However, they are not allowed post any videos of the gameplay, but one of them manage to post several photos of game's main menu showcasing the new expansion, WCCFTech reported.
In other news, "The Witcher 3" game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz shared several interesting details on how "Blood and Wine" DLC will be the same as the main storyline of "Wild Hunt.
Tomaszkiewicz told Examiner that "Blood and Wine" DLC expansion is a "smaller version" of "The Witcher 3's" mains storyline as the expansion has an open world, side quests and a big main story arc, unlike its previous content, "Hearts of Stone" is which it has a collection stories dealing with a singular theme and situations that Geralt does not normally involved with.
"Blood and Wine" will have Geralt travel to the new region of Touissant as the DLC will feature over 30 hours of gameplay, over 90 new quest, 40 points of interest, 100 individual pieces of armor, more than 20 new monsters, a new Dynamic points of interest and New Game+ maximum level increase to 100.
Gamers will receive a "Grandmaster" class armor for Geralt and some of its pieces will be connected to certain quests in "Blood and Wine". Armors can dyed with different colors and they can be purchased from merchants, crafted or looted. There are also 30 new weapons and a golden Touissant armor will be available for purchase along with a horse armor for Roach.
New mutation are introduced in"Blood and Wine" with 12 abilities that gamers can unlock by leveling up or doing a particular quest. Three new monsters are already introduced in the DLC such as Scolopendromorphs, Bruxas and Stringas.
The expansion will also feature both new and returning characters such as Yennefer, Triss Merigold, Ann Henriatta, Fringello Vigo, Dandelion, Regis and Vilgefortz.
"Blood and Wine" DLC will cost around $19.99 or get it using the expansion pass. A limited box edition of the DLC will contain new physical Gwent card decks, guide, tokens and code for the DLC.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
